What intrigued and interested me the most when looking at this all of the resources to do with this topic was definitely how the MDA a process can help enhance your knowledge of game design and make your future project better. Looking more specifically I really enjoyed learning all the different aspects of mechanics, dynamics and aesthetics and seeing how all of these things are used to make games brilliant. It comes to mechanics I really like learning that there are multiple types of mechanics and not all of them you can interact with for example for an interactive one it could be like a gun, an enemy detector or a site in a gun but it can also be ones in the background all of this was very cool and I found it quite interesting and I didn't know before. When it comes to dynamics before reading and listening to the works I do not know what that meant in the context of games but now I do. I learned that when you combine a lot of mechanics together they contribute to making a dynamic and those dynamics are the core of the game and make it to be playable. For example monopoly uses territorial acquisition when all of its mechanics are put together. I also learned there are usually two main dynamics in most games and sometimes there are more acting as supports. And lastly the MDA process talks about aesthetics. I learned aesthetics are all about evoking emotion. I learned that there are many ways aesthetics should evoke emotions for example what sensation does the aesthetics give you when you're in the game another thing is fantasy and how's the creators can bring you into the world of the game and give you the adequate tools to do so. There are a lot of variables when it comes to aesthetics but one more I liked was expression this allows the player to make and do what they want for example Minecraft. Overall I really like learning about this process in particular out of everything. It was very interesting and insightful to learn a very integral process that game designers use to not only make their games great but also their future games and other peoples games great as well.
